Photos
The catalog’s firearm photographs come from Wikimedia Commons, each under a free license. Every one was cut out of its background and its exposure evened out for this app. A few are studio renders of free-licensed 3D models from Sketchfab, lit and photographed in Blender for this app. A photo of the model is not a photo of anybody’s own firearm.
Some pictures of firearms and parts, and the built models drawn from them, are makers’ product photographs with their names and logos removed, used to show what a model looks like. They are not licensed to Calbr, and no maker is affiliated with Calbr or endorses it. A maker or rights holder who wants one removed can write to support@cques.ai, and it comes down.
A firearm with no photo of its own shows the photograph of the same model below where there is one, turned level and mirrored where the photograph faces left. Otherwise it shows a space to add your own photo: never a drawing.
